Bio

Mahir Ashab is a Computer Science and Engineering student at Patuakhali Science and Technology University with interests in software development, system design, entrepreneurship, and student leadership. He has worked on backend systems, RESTful APIs, automation tools, and embedded system projects, including a resume analysis and interview management system and an autonomous fire-fighting robot. Beyond technology, Mahir is actively involved in building student communities and organizing impactful campus initiatives. He currently serves as President of PSTU Career Club and PSTU Entrepreneurship Club, while also contributing to CSE Club and other student-led programs. Through his technical and leadership journey, he is passionate about creating platforms where young people can share ideas, discover opportunities, and turn potential into meaningful action.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about creating systems to help people transform potential into action. Solving problems by technology, backend development, automation, and thinking in a structured way is my pleasure as a Computer Science and Engineering student. However, my passion extends beyond code – I am also passionate about leadership and about providing opportunities for students to learn, connect, grow and do so with confidence. I have witnessed the power of the right platform to shift the thinking of young people about themselves and their futures in my experience working with PSTU Career Club, PSTU Entrepreneurship Club, CSE Club, and as a student, I have organized several events throughout the year that have had a profound impact. It is this design process that motivates me the most: how space facilitates ideas, people and opportunities to merge.

An idea worth spreading

Potential becomes powerful when young people are given the right platform to turn their ideas into action, connect with others, and create meaningful change in their community.
