I am Faraz Ali Jafri, a Computer Science student at HITEC University Taxila and an active leader in Pakistan's literary and debating community. I currently serve as Vice President of the Literary & Debating Society, where I have organized and led numerous national-level competitions, public speaking events, and intellectual forums. My interests lie at the intersection of technology, leadership, education, and communication. Through debate, event management, and community engagement, I strive to create platforms that encourage critical thinking, meaningful dialogue, and the exchange of ideas. As the organizer of TEDxHITEC University, I am committed to bringing together innovators, educators, professionals, and students to share ideas that inspire positive change.

I am passionate about public speaking, debate, leadership development, technology, event management, and youth empowerment. I enjoy creating opportunities for students to learn, compete, and grow beyond the classroom. Whether organizing national competitions, leading student initiatives, or exploring emerging technologies, I am motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to my community. I am also interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, and the role technology can play in solving real-world challenges.

Ideas have the power to transform individuals, communities, and societies. I believe that meaningful conversations and access to diverse perspectives can unlock human potential and inspire action. In a rapidly changing world, empowering young people to think critically, communicate effectively, and embrace innovation is more important than ever. My journey with ideas began through debating and literary activities during my university years. These experiences taught me the value of communication, curiosity, and open-minded discussion. As I grew into leadership roles, I realized that some of the most impactful moments occur when people share experiences, insights, and solutions that challenge conventional thinking. This realization inspired me to bring TEDx to HITEC University. Organizing TEDxHITEC University is an opportunity to connect talented individuals, celebrate innovation, and provide a platform where powerful ideas can reach and inspire others.

Many people know me through debating and event management, but fewer know that I enjoy planning complex projects, coordinating large teams, and solving organizational challenges behind the scenes. I also have a strong interest in technology and enjoy exploring how software, automation, and innovative systems can improve efficiency and create positive impact.
