Dr. C. Radhika is a distinguished mathematician, educator, and researcher with over 15 years of dedicated service in higher education. Currently serving as Head and Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at VET Institute of Arts and Science (Co-Ed) College, Erode, she brings an exceptional blend of academic rigor, research innovation, and institutional leadership to every role she undertakes. She also holds the position of Head of Club Affairs and has previously served as Head of the Examination Cell, demonstrating her wide-ranging administrative capability alongside her scholarly pursuits. Dr. Radhika's academic credentials are among the most comprehensive in her field. She holds an M.Sc., M.Phil., B.Ed., P.G.D.C.A., and a Ph.D., reflecting a lifelong commitment to intellectual growth. Her specializations lie in Graph Theory, Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets, and Fuzzy Image Processing — areas at the confluence of pure mathematics and emerging computational science. Before joining VET Institute, she served as an Assistant Professor at Kongu Arts and Science College from 2008 to 2013, building a strong foundation for the prolific career that would follow. A researcher of considerable standing, Dr. Radhika has authored over 22 international publications in Scopus and UGC CARE journals, and has presented papers at more than 50 national and international conferences. She has authored three books — including Allied Mathematics for AI & Data Science and a volume on Actuarial Statistics — resources that bridge traditional mathematical thinking with the demands of modern data-driven disciplines. In 2024, she filed a patent for an Intelligent Electric Solar Dryer for Fruits using a fuzzy logic-based system, a testament to her applied scientific creativity and interdisciplinary vision. Her contributions to academia have been widely recognized. Dr. Radhika is the recipient of the Best Teacher Award from the Lions Club of Erode Metro, a deeply meaningful recognition of her impact in the classroom. She has also received Best Paper Awards at three prominent international conferences: KEC International (2024), Christ University's international conference on Artificial Intelligence (2025), and Puducherry University's international conference on AI and Secure Data Analytics (2025). These accolades reflect the high caliber of her research and her growing influence in the field of applied mathematics and computing. Beyond research and teaching, Dr. Radhika is an active force in academic governance and community building. She served as the Convener of the International Conference ICTCGT 2024, successfully securing funding from prestigious national agencies including DAE-NBHM, DST SERB, and TNSCST — a feat that speaks to her organizational acumen and her stature in the academic community. She is also a Member of the Board of Studies and Syllabus Framing Committee at Bharathiar University and affiliated autonomous colleges, directly shaping the future of mathematics education in the region. In her editorial capacity, Dr. Radhika serves as Editor of Math Magic, a mathematics magazine that makes the discipline accessible and engaging to students. She has served as an Invigilator for IIT Bombay's Spoken Tutorial Project, and functions as both Rotaract Coordinator and Skill Development Coordinator at her institution — roles that reflect her investment in the holistic development of students beyond the curriculum. Technically proficient across multiple platforms, Dr. Radhika is skilled in R, Python, Power BI, Excel, SPSS, LaTeX, MATLAB, and Mathematical Modeling & Simulation. She has further deepened her expertise through certified courses in Transactional Analysis (TA 101), Microsoft Power BI Data Analytics, Data Analysis with R Programming (Google), and Designing Effective Learning Resources for LMS, MOOCs, and OER environments. Fluent in both English and Tamil, she has acted as a resource person and guest speaker at over 30 events, generously sharing her expertise with the broader academic and professional community. Dr. C. Radhika exemplifies the ideal of a modern academician — one who is as committed to research excellence as to the craft of teaching, as invested in institutional leadership as in scholarly publication. Her career is a testament to the belief that mathematics, in the hands of a dedicated educator, becomes not merely a discipline but a transformative force in the lives of students and in the growth of knowledge itself.
