An idea worth spreading
An idea worth spreading is that small actions matter more than we think. We often believe that change requires something big or dramatic, but in reality, it starts with tiny steps—helping a friend, speaking kindly, or trying again after failing. These small actions may seem unimportant in the moment, but over time, they build confidence, create connections, and shape who we become. If more people believed in the power of small steps, the world wouldn’t change all at once—but it would change every single day.
The TED story
I used to stay quiet, even when I had something to say, because I was afraid of being wrong or judged. Every time I wanted to speak, my thoughts held me back. But one day, I realized that staying silent was holding me back more than making a mistake ever could. So I took a deep breath and spoke up. It wasn’t perfect, and my voice still shook, but nothing bad happened—in fact, I felt proud. That moment taught me that courage isn’t about being fearless; it’s about speaking even when you are afraid.
People don't know I'm good at
What people don’t know about me is that I’m good at things I rarely show. I might not always speak up or try to stand out, but I notice details, think deeply, and learn quickly. Sometimes, being quiet makes people underestimate you, but it also gives you the chance to grow without pressure. I’ve realized that not everything you’re good at needs to be visible to everyone right away. Strength can be silent, and confidence can grow slowly. And one day, when the moment is right, those hidden skills will speak for themselves.
