About Laura
Bio
Laura Brounstein is an award-winning journalist, communications strategist, and content leader whose career has centered on women and storytelling as forces for change. She is the founder of LB & Partners, a New York–based advisory that helps Fortune 500 brands, founder-led growth companies, NGOs, and political campaigns shape narratives that drive growth, engagement, and cultural influence. A TV news commentator, she co-hosts and produces Across the Bar, a weekly podcast where she and employment attorney Peter Rahbar take the week's news and distill what it means for your career, your workplace, and your power — legally and strategically.
Across two decades in media and advocacy, she has led editorial teams at Hearst, Condé Nast, and Meredith; built platforms for Airbnb and Bumble; held senior brand and marketing roles at WeWork and CLEAR; and served as CMO of the Center for Reproductive Rights. She produced the Biden campaign's live digital series Team Joe Talks in 2020 and led women's and consumer media outreach on the 2024 Harris-Walz campaign. She also produces live events and brand experiences — from advocacy galas and editorial summits to campaign events — for clients like People, Netflix, and the James Beard Foundation. Her journalism has been recognized with the National Magazine Award, the Deadline Club Award, and the GLAAD Media Award.
