About Yolanda
Bio
I work in life (re)insurance, analyzing insurance risks and structuring deals across international markets to balance policyholder protection with shareholder expectations. I've lived across multiple countries and have been in Bermuda for five years, where I've found both professional grounding and personal freedom. Working in a field built on risk has shaped how I think about uncertainty, judgement, and the systems we rely on.
While my work is structured and analytical, I'm increasingly drawn to exploring the connection between art and science, and the relationship between people and the world around us.
An idea worth spreading
The people who need protection the most are often the least able to access it. How can we design better systems to serve everyone, especially as AI reshapes our world?
