Grace Strome

Grace Strome is a senior strategist with more than 15 years of experience advising senior executives and helping mission-driven organizations operate more effectively and strategically. With a career spanning government, advocacy, and philanthropy, her work sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and external engagement, helping institutions translate values into action and impact. Grace currently works at Pivotal Ventures, where she leads external stakeholder strategy and partners with senior leaders to shape engagement approaches that advance long-term philanthropic priorities. Prior to joining Pivotal, she served as Chief of Staff at Oxfam America, advising the President and CEO on organizational strategy and operations and leading the CEO’s external partnership strategy. Previously, Grace was Deputy Chief of Staff at the National Partnership for Women and Families, where she directed the organization’s operations, development, and strategic planning. During President Obama’s second term, she served as Deputy Director of the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence, managing the team responsible for constituent communications, presidential proclamations, and official messages. She also coordinated celebrity engagement for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign and the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committee. Grace holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Carleton College and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
