I’m a FinTech student, digital marketer, entrepreneur, and community builder who believes in turning ideas into action. My interests lie at the intersection of finance, technology, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and innovation. Currently pursuing BS FinTech at the University of Lahore, I’m constantly exploring new ideas, building communities, and creating opportunities for young people to learn, connect, and grow. As the Organizer & President of TEDx University of Lahore, I’m working to bring powerful ideas and diverse perspectives to the university community and create a platform where meaningful conversations can inspire meaningful action. I’m passionate about thinking differently, challenging conventional ideas, and helping people recognize the potential within themselves. My journey has taught me that you don’t need to wait for an opportunity—you can create one. I believe every idea has the potential to create impact when someone has the courage to take the first step.

I’m especially interested in technology, FinTech, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and community building. I enjoy taking an idea that seems impossible at first and turning it into something real. I’m passionate about bringing people together around meaningful conversations and creating platforms where different perspectives can be heard. Above all, I’m passionate about learning from people, challenging the ordinary, and creating something that leaves a positive impact.

The Journey That Shapes Us We often focus on where we are going, the degree, the career, the success, or the destination. But the most important part of our story is often the journey that takes us there. Every failure, unexpected opportunity, difficult decision, relationship, and challenge leaves something behind. These experiences shape how we think, what we value, and ultimately who we become. My idea is simple: don't underestimate the journey. We should stop measuring our lives only by achievements and start recognizing the lessons, people, struggles, and experiences that shape us along the way. Our journey does not simply take us to our destination—it prepares us to become the person capable of reaching it. Because sometimes, the journey isn't taking us somewhere. It's creating who we are.

My TED journey started simply by watching TED Talks on YouTube. I was fascinated by how one idea, one story, or one conversation could influence thousands of people. Later, I had the opportunity to attend TEDx events at FAST University, and that experience made me think: Why not organize a TEDx event at our own university? I started researching and discovered that, to my knowledge, no TEDx event had previously been organized at the University of Lahore. That became the motivation to take the first step. I began researching the requirements, gathering documentation, and preparing everything needed to apply for a TEDx license. It was a challenging process, but I was fortunate to have the support of my collegue Ilsa Shoaib from Karachi, my friend Muhammad Taha and my mentor Sir Nasir Jamal, who had previous experience organizing TEDx events. Their guidance throughout the process was invaluable. After almost 4–5 months of effort, research, documentation, and waiting, I finally received the email I had been working toward: “Congratulations…” I had received the TEDx license. One of the most memorable moments was sharing this news with our HOD, Dr. Naveed Anwar. His appreciation and happiness that day is something I will never forget. He even invited me for a cup of coffee, where we discussed the vision and future of TEDx at the Lahore Business School, University of Lahore. He shared that he had also worked on a similar vision back in 2022 and encouraged me to move forward with the idea. I’m deeply grateful to our respected Dean, Dr. Rabeeya Raoof, for her support, and thankful to Advisor Ma’am Aiman Kamran and Dr. Soniya Munir for their unwavering encouragement. After receiving the license, the next chapter began, building a team, bringing students together, and turning an idea into a real TEDx experience on our campus. And the journey is still going on. What started with watching TED Talks on a screen has now become a journey of creating a platform for ideas at my own university. And perhaps that is what TED means to me: an idea can start anywhere, even with a simple “Why not?”

I’m good at turning ideas into action. I can take a simple thought, break it down into practical steps, bring the right people together, and keep working until it becomes a reality. I’m also good at connecting with people, building teams, finding solutions under pressure, and communicating ideas in a way that gets people involved. What people may not immediately notice is my ability to stay persistent when things don’t happen quickly. I’m comfortable starting from zero, learning along the way, and figuring things out when there is no clear roadmap. And perhaps my biggest hidden strength is seeing possibilities where others see limitations.
