I was born in Venezuela and now live in Chillán, a city that taught me that where you are does not limit the size of the ideas you can build. I believe in the power of regions, in the richness of diversity, and in the ability people have to transform their environment when they connect with purpose. I am a cheerful, curious, and creative person with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sense of service. My path has been shaped by the desire to contribute to society, create projects that promote local development, and show that innovation does not belong only to large capitals, but also to communities that dare to imagine something different. Professionally, I work in corporate governance, innovation, and organizational development, leading the implementation of advanced operational and strategic models focused on building integrated ecosystems of initiatives. My work is centered on creating structures that not only manage projects, but also generate new opportunities through collaboration, creativity, and long-term vision. My academic background in Social Work, combined with business and innovation training, allows me to integrate human understanding with strategic thinking, always under the belief that people and their relationships are the true drivers of sustainable success. My faith, my family, and my values are the foundation of everything I do. Through TEDx, I work to bring world-class ideas to our region, connect diverse people, and show that with vision, collaboration, and hope, any place can become an extraordinary one.

I am passionate about meeting people, listening to their stories, and discovering how ideas can become projects that create real impact. I enjoy creating initiatives, connecting people with purpose, and working for the development of the region where I live, convinced that communities grow when they share knowledge, values, and opportunities. I also enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends, learning from different cultures, and finding inspiration in everyday life. I believe in the power of joy, faith, and service as driving forces to build a meaningful life and to contribute positively to society.

I believe that one of the most important ideas worth spreading is that the place where we are born or live does not define the size of what we can achieve. As a Venezuelan living in southern Chile, I have learned that regions have enormous potential when people connect, share their experiences, and dare to think differently. Many times we believe that everything happens in big cities, but the truth is that real change begins when someone decides to create spaces for conversation, inspiration, and collaboration. When a community comes together around positive ideas, projects can emerge that truly transform lives. I am convinced that sharing ideas, inspiring others, and building human connections is a real way to create development, hope, and new opportunities.

Regional development, Social innovation

I discovered TED a few years ago when I watched a video for the first time that really caught my attention and made me reflect deeply. That first talk motivated me to keep watching more, and little by little I became interested in other talks that sparked my curiosity about ideas, innovation, and people who want to create positive change in the world. Over time, I kept finding TED content on social media and online, often through short videos on Facebook or Instagram, and I was always impressed by how powerful ideas can inspire, teach, and motivate others. This year I decided to visit the TED website to learn more, and that’s when I discovered that it was possible to apply to organize a TEDx event. Knowing that any community can create a space to share ideas really excited me, because I strongly believe that regions also have talent, creativity, and people with stories that deserve to be heard. As a Venezuelan living in Chillán, Chile, I felt this was an opportunity to contribute to the place where I live, connect people, and show that great ideas do not depend on the city you are in, but on the willingness to do something positive for the community. For me, TEDx represents the opportunity to bring people together, inspire new projects, and create spaces where ideas can transform realities.

Many people don’t know that I am especially good at imagining new projects and connecting people who can complement each other. I enjoy thinking creatively, finding different solutions, and seeing opportunities where others see difficulties. I also have a natural ability to organize initiatives, motivate others, and keep a positive attitude even in challenging situations. I like creating environments where people feel inspired, heard, and encouraged to contribute something meaningful to the community.
