I have been part of the TEDxAUA journey for around six years. Throughout this time, I have grown not only as a leader (from team member to team leader and eventually co-organizer of the event), but also as a person committed to community development and the larger mission behind TEDx. For me, TEDxAUA has always been more than just an event. It is a platform for empowering people through ideas worth spreading. Even during difficult periods, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in our country, it was important to continue this work. Despite many limitations and the transition to online/live format, we believed that in challenging times people especially need inspiration, meaningful conversations, and a sense of connection. Beyond TEDxAUA, I also enjoy attending and engaging with other TEDx communities, such as TEDxYerevan and TEDxMoskovyan, both as an audience member and as a colleague. Being part of this global community continues to inspire me, and I strongly believe in its power to bring people together, encourage dialogue, and create positive change through ideas.
