Bio
Alexa Arnold is Managing Director of the Anxious Generation Movement and Chief of Staff to social psychologist Jonathan Haidt. A seasoned social impact leader, she has built and scaled mission-driven initiatives across agriculture, public health, and youth mental health, driving systems-level change. She is a three-time Chief of Staff, executive coach to founders and CEOs, and trusted strategist to leaders across corporate, nonprofit, and startup sectors.
Previously, Alexa spent nearly a decade at FoodCorps, helping grow it from a startup into a national leader in school food reform—work that earned her recognition on New York City’s 40 Under 40. Earlier, she led agricultural policy efforts in Kentucky and launched more than 15 farmers markets statewide. Known for pairing operational rigor with strategic vision, she brings clarity and energy to her work. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and young son.
