Bio

I’m an educational leader and scholar with 20+ years of experience at the intersection of health sciences education, English language learning, and academic program development. Currently serving at MCPHS as the Director of the Undergraduate Bridge Program & English Language Resource Center, and an Assistant Professor of Health Sciences and English Language Learning, where I support diverse learners in achieving academic and professional success. My work centers on designing and leading programs and courses that empower students to thrive in rigorous academic environments. I’m passionate about bridging language, culture, and content, helping students build confidence, career competencies, and communication skills that unlock opportunities in healthcare and beyond. Over the course of my career, I’ve taught at institutions in Boston, New York City, Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Beijing, and Hong Kong, and I bring a global perspective grounded in decades of teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship.

I'm passionate about
