Boglárka Koller

I am Boglárka Koller, Full Professor at the Ludovika University of Public Service, where I serve as Head of the Department of European Studies and Head of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence. My academic work focuses on European integration and the political and social challenges shaping the European Union. Beyond academia, I am President of the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA) and a member of the Board of the United Nations Association of Hungary, actively contributing to international academic and public dialogue.

I am deeply passionate about the idea that meaningful change rarely begins with grand gestures, but with small, consistent actions taken by ordinary people. Everyday choices — how we speak to one another, what we buy, how we learn, and how we participate in our communities — quietly shape larger systems over time. When individuals recognize their agency in these seemingly minor decisions, they begin to influence culture, institutions, and collective outcomes. I believe that empowering people to see the value of their small steps creates momentum that can transform societies. Real change becomes possible when responsibility feels personal and achievable rather than distant or overwhelming.
