Recently became an alumna of the AI Girls Bootcamp 2025, enhancing my knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and women-led tech initiatives.

My TED story began not only as an organizer, but as a speaker who experienced firsthand the power of the TEDx stage. Through my previous TEDx talk, I explored the idea that conversations, especially the ones we silence or ignore shape our identities, communities, and futures. That experience made me realize how deeply voice and visibility matter, particularly for girls and young women. My talk was closely connected to SDG 5: Gender Equality and centered on a simple but pressing question: What happens when girls stop speaking up? I reflected on how social norms, fear of judgment, and lack of safe spaces gradually teach girls to remain silent, even when they have ideas, opinions, and solutions to share. Silence, I learned, is rarely a lack of ideas it is often the result of not being heard. Speaking on the TEDx stage transformed my understanding of leadership and impact. It showed me that empowering women does not always begin with large-scale movements, but with creating environments where voices are welcomed, respected, and valued. This belief later shaped my involvement in student-led initiatives and community projects focused on education, dialogue, and women’s empowerment. TED, for me, is more than a platform it is a responsibility. It represents the opportunity to turn personal reflection into collective dialogue and to help others recognize the importance of speaking up. Through TEDxTSUEWomen, I hope to continue this journey by creating a space where women and students feel confident sharing ideas, challenging perspectives, and contributing to meaningful change within their communities.

People don’t always know that I enjoy listening more than speaking, and that many of my ideas are born from everyday conversations.
