I am a communications professional and entrepreneur passionate about the power of ideas to inspire change. Throughout my career, I have worked across media, education and public speaking, helping people communicate with greater confidence and impact.

I am passionate about storytelling, creativity and human connection. As a writer, artist and communication specialist, I believe stories have the power to inspire, challenge perspectives and bring people together. Beyond my professional work, I write fiction, play the piano and violin, and actively foster a community of local creatives through Authors Fair, an open mic platform that celebrates storytelling, literature and artistic expression.

Long before laws, institutions and innovations changed the world, stories changed the way people thought. As a writer, artist and communication specialist, I am passionate about creating and amplifying stories that inspire people to see new possibilities for themselves and their communities.

My journey with TED began long before I became a TEDx organizer. As a writer, artist, and communication specialist, I have always been fascinated by the power of stories to shape the way we think, feel and connect with one another. Whether through books, music, education or public speaking, I found myself constantly drawn to people and ideas that challenge perspectives and inspire growth. Over the years, I built communities around creativity and storytelling through initiatives such as Authors Fair, an open mic platform that brings together writers, artists and creatives from diverse backgrounds. Yet I often felt there was a need for a space where ideas from different disciplines could meet, where conversations could extend beyond our individual circles and spark broader impact. TED and TEDx embodied that vision. More than a TEDx event, it is my contribution to building a culture of curiosity, dialogue and lifelong learning in Mauritius. I believe that every meaningful change begins with a story, an idea or a conversation. TEDx allows those moments to happen.

People don't know I'm good at turning ideas into communities. What often starts as a conversation eventually becomes an event, a platform or a movement.
