Bio
For the past three years, I have worked with Vinschool in a managerial role, supporting teachers in delivering Secondary and High School Cambridge programmes to Vietnamese students.
Although I am ethnically English, I was born in the Philippines and have spent much of my life in Southeast Asia.
Growing up here has given me a deep and lasting connection to this part of the world—Vietnam in particular holds a special place in my heart.
Outside of my work in education, I value my role as a father. I spend much of my free time with my daughter, learning and exploring the world together.
My passions include extensive reading, the arts, history, and understanding cultural backgrounds. In the future, I hope to dedicate more time to higher-level study and, beyond that, to supporting students and colleagues as they pursue their ambitions. One of the greatest rewards of working in education is witnessing those ambitions take shape.
I'm passionate about
My passion is people—understanding them, supporting them, and doing what I can to make their lives a little easier. I take genuine fulfilment in being someone others can rely on. When someone reaches out and I’m able to help, it gives me a deep sense of purpose.
This instinct to support others naturally builds strong connections. Human beings are wired to connect, to learn from one another, and to grow through those relationships. I believe that engaging with people in this way is one of the fastest paths to becoming a well‑rounded and fulfilled individual
An idea worth spreading
People often underestimate the cumulative power of tiny, consistent improvements. We imagine transformation as something dramatic, but in reality it’s usually the result of:
- a 1% shift in a habit
- a small kindness repeated daily
- a tiny experiment that becomes a breakthrough
- a quiet decision to keep going when it would be easier to stop
It’s an idea that empowers anyone — regardless of resources, background, or circumstance — to shape their future. And it’s contagious: when one person starts improving their corner of the world, others tend to follow.
