Bio

Scott is a writer, producer and storyteller. Currently, Scott is a Co-Executive Producer on ABC’s acclaimed hit television series, Grey’s Anatomy. Prior to Grey’s Scott worked for the Children’s Television Workshop on the illustrious Sesame Street, with the International Co-Productions, where he advised on Sesame Street Productions in: Germany, The Netherland, Bangladesh, and South Africa. After his time in children’s television, Scott segued into prime-time broadcast television where he wrote and produced an original series for Paramount. In addition to entertainment, Scott enjoys writing the occasional “top of mind” essay on things he’s “currently thinking about.” His work has been published in various print and digital mediums throughout the world including a recent multi-part series for the Huffington Post and Fatherly. Scott is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he received his B.S. in History and The New School in New York City where he received M.F.A. in Media Studies. Upon graduation Scott served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua. After the Peace Corps, Scott lived and worked in Madrid, Spain and Istanbul, Turkey where he fostered his love for cross-cultural awareness, any and all delicious local cuisine, and writing. Scott is a proud and vocal member of the LBGTQ community. His biggest accomplishment thus far is being a father of two beautiful boys and a loving husband.
