About Francesca

Bio

I am a Brand Manager and Humanistic Corporate Coach, and I work every day with the words, identities, and cultures that shape how we describe ourselves and how we recognize one another. I’ve been part of communication teams engaged in campaigns against gender-based violence, and I carry forward a constant exploration of how language can open possibilities rather than close them. In 2025, I chose to volunteer at TEDx Piazza Santo Stefano Women Bologna,a simple yet deeply symbolic act, born from the desire to contribute to a community committed to eliminating the gender gap and creating spaces where every voice can resonate. As Stephen Covey writes: “Find your voice, and inspire others to find theirs.”

I'm passionate about

My passions are: personal growth, women’s empowerment, shared leadership, and travel.

An idea worth spreading

In Stephen Covey’s view, “finding your voice” means recognizing your own uniqueness: the talent, value, and perspective that only you can bring into the world. It’s a deeply identity-shaping act—one that requires letting go of external expectations and beginning to speak with your own true tone. But Covey adds a decisive step: “giving your voice.” It’s not enough to find your own voice—we must also create the conditions for others to exist, emerge, and resonate. This is where the concept becomes incredibly powerful for women’s empowerment. Because empowerment is not (only) an individual achievement. It grows when a woman uses her voice to open space for other women. When an experience becomes a bridge. When a narrative becomes a possibility. When a single gesture encourages someone else to step forward, speak up, and claim her place.

The TED story

I volunteered at TEDx Piazza Santo Stefano Women in 2025 in the fundraising team, later supporting external relations, press office activities, and communication. I strongly believe in TEDx as a catalyst for ideas and for people who want to help create a society that is inspired, generous, and open.

Things you might not know

I love acting in theatre because every time I step on stage, I get to inhabit other lives, feel emotions that aren’t my own, and give voice to characters far from who I am. It’s a way to explore humanity from different perspectives, to move beyond my own boundaries, and to discover, through others, something new about myself.
