I'm passionate about
Advancing social and community development, especially initiatives that give opportunities to underserved communities and empower local changemakers.
Empowering young leaders and students to take action, innovate, and create meaningful impact despite limited resources.
Using research, evidence, and lived experience to design practical solutions to societal challenges.
Promoting inclusivity, cultural understanding, and women’s empowerment, informed by my own journey from a small village to pursuing higher education abroad.
Creating platforms (like TEDx) to amplify emerging voices, giving space to ideas that inspire change and reach communities that often go unheard.
Sharing stories of resilience and determination, highlighting how small beginnings can lead to big social impact.
An idea worth spreading
The idea I believe is worth spreading is this: every voice has the potential to spark meaningful change when given a platform, support, and the freedom to experiment. Too often, brilliant ideas go unheard because they come from people without resources, recognition, or networks not because the ideas lack power. I want to show that small initiatives, local innovators, and emerging voices can transform communities and inspire scalable impact.
Through my own journey (from a small village in Pakistan with no higher education opportunities, to pursuing a Master of Public Policy in Germany) I have seen firsthand how resilience, self-motivation, and access to platforms can turn challenges into impact. I witnessed people in my community, including my father, create lasting change without formal recognition, simply by acting on their ideas. This taught me that a good idea is only as powerful as the space it is given to thrive.
At TEDxUniversityofErfurt, my mission is to amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard—students, faculty, and local changemakers with innovative solutions, bold perspectives, and lived experiences that challenge assumptions. Whether it’s a research-driven insight, a creative social initiative, or an unconventional idea rooted in everyday experience, these contributions can spark dialogue, inspire action, and scale social impact.
The core of my idea is this: every voice matters, and every idea has the potential to reshape society. By creating spaces that nurture creativity, encourage experimentation, and connect thinkers to communities, we can transform small initiatives into scalable change, foster empathy, and build more inclusive, resilient societies. TEDx is not just a stage, it is a catalyst for connection, empowerment, and transformation.

The TED story
I come from a small village in Pakistan where access to education was scarce and opportunities were limited. My hometown had no colleges or universities, and for me, pursuing higher education meant leaving everything familiar behind moving to cities far away, without financial support, and working three jobs simultaneously to fund my studies.
Those years were not easy. I faced countless obstacles, uncertainty, and moments of doubt. Yet, I never let my inner spark fade. I motivated myself through self-created discipline, determination, Tedx videos, and a belief that education could transform not only my life but also the lives of those around me.
My inspiration comes from people whose voices are often unheard but whose impact is extraordinary especially my father, who became a beacon of light in our village, advocating for education, women’s empowerment, and community development. His example taught me the power of ideas and the importance of platforms that allow those ideas to reach others.
Today, I am pursuing my Master of Public Policy at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Germany, a journey that began with struggle but continues with purpose. TEDxUniversityofErfurt allows me to combine my passion for social and community development with my belief in the transformative power of ideas. Through this platform, I aim to amplify the voices of students, faculty, and local changemakers those who, like me, have ideas worth spreading but need a stage to share them.
For me, TEDx is more than an event. It is a space to celebrate resilience, spark dialogue, and create lasting impact. It is an opportunity to show that even small beginnings can lead to big change, and that every story, every idea, and every voice has the power to inspire, educate, and transform communities.
