About Chicara
Bio
I’ve built my career operating inside complex, high-stakes enterprise environments across Fortune 500 financial services and healthcare organizations, where governance, risk, and resilience are mission-critical.
Today, my work centers on AI risk strategy and enterprise governance, with a focus on strengthening control frameworks, risk alignment, and regulatory readiness across evolving technology environments. In my current role, I lead initiatives that expand control maturity beyond core systems, support internal audit readiness, and shape more scalable, forward-looking approaches to risk across the enterprise.
As organizations navigate rapid technological change, my work is increasingly focused on AI governance and digital identity risk—ensuring that innovation is implemented responsibly, securely, and in alignment with enterprise risk frameworks. I am particularly interested in how traditional governance models evolve to support emerging technologies without slowing progress.
I recently completed Harvard Business School’s Business Strategy program, further strengthening my ability to think at the intersection of risk, value creation, and executive decision-making.
My work lives at the intersection of structured controls and forward-thinking leadership. I believe the future of innovation will be defined by how well we govern it.
Outside of technology, I’m also a voiceover artist, using my voice for narration, training content, and storytelling—bringing clarity, tone, and human connection to complex ideas.
