About Dilara

Bio

I’m a Mathematics student at İzmir Institute of Technology and currently one of the Sponsorship Team Leaders for TEDxİYTE 2025. My journey with TEDx started as a team member in the previous year, and since then, I’ve been inspired by the power of sharing ideas that can truly make a difference. I’m passionate about connecting innovative ideas with the right opportunities especially by building strong partnerships that bring value to both sides. I love being part of creative, collaborative teams where every small idea can turn into something impactful. Beyond my academic background in mathematics, I enjoy combining analytical thinking with creativity to find effective and meaningful solutions in every project I take part in.

I'm passionate about

I’m passionate about building bridges between people, ideas, and opportunities. I love taking part in projects that have a social impact, encourage creativity, and push boundaries. Being part of a team where innovation meets purpose is what truly motivates me.

An idea worth spreading

Collaboration is not just about working together, it’s about creating a shared vision that inspires everyone involved. I believe that when people come together with openness, empathy, and curiosity, they can transform small ideas into movements that make a real difference in the world.

The TED story

My TED journey has been a path of growth, collaboration, and creativity. Starting as a team member in the Sponsorship Department and continuing as a team leader, I’ve learned how powerful a single idea can be when supported by the right people and resources. TED represents more than an event to me it’s a movement that connects passionate minds. Being part of this community has inspired me to think bigger, act with purpose, and always believe in the impact of shared ideas.
