Jordan Vaughn is Vice President of Partnerships & Community at NationSwell, where he leads executive partnerships, member growth, and high-signal convenings that move commitments into measurable results. At NationSwell, he orchestrates the social-impact ecosystem that connects corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit leaders in the right configurations, at the right moments, to create force multipliers that drive deeper, broader, and more durable impact. Current members and partners he works with include the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Sesame Workshop, Ben & Jerry’s, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and others, aligning strategy, peer intelligence, and targeted introductions to accelerate outcomes. Previously, Jordan founded The Devonia Group, a strategy studio focused on equity and organizational change. Projects have included enterprise equity audits, talent-pipeline design, and stakeholder campaigns that help institutions align communications, hiring, and partnerships with measurable goals. Earlier, as Principal, Growth & Impact at Maestra, he contributed to the Oscar-nominated projects TIME and Judas and the Black Messiah and supported brand social-impact initiatives. Jordan’s public-sector and political experience includes service as executive assistant to Jim Messina (former White House Deputy Chief of Staff and campaign manager for President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election). He then held senior finance roles at the Democratic National Committee, including as African American Leadership Council Finance Director and National Coalitions Finance Director before serving as National African American Finance Director for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Across roles, he has worked with campaigns and committees supporting Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and other progressive political leaders. Beyond formal roles, Jordan convenes the Devonia Supper Club. A multicultural friends-first cohort of established leaders (primarily Black and Brown women and queer men, alongside allied peers) that rotates across cities for cultural immersion, social stimulation, and salon-style dialogue spanning arts, markets, policy, and civic life. The club privileges depth and conviviality in equal measure. A graduate of Morehouse College with roots in Eatonville, Florida, Jordan has led place-based storytelling and civic projects elevating the histories of communities such as Boley, Oklahoma, Greenwood Historic District (Tulsa, Oklahoma) and Eatonville. Linking cultural preservation to contemporary economic and civic renewal. He is also the founder of Devonia Living, a ceramics venture at the intersection of design and wellbeing. Civic and governance roles include board service with Second Chance Studios, membership on the Supervisory Committee of the Unity of Eatonville Federal Credit Union, and committee service with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Leadership programs and fellowships include American Swiss Foundation Young Leaders Class of 2017, Leadership Florida Connect Class 12, and REALITY Empower 2018.
