Traveled the world after college studies. Early career in Film & Advertising production. Sparked by the newly burgeoning wine phenomenon in the U.S. my entrepreneurial spirit led to the founding of Wine Enthusiast Companies. The first company to introduce the concept of wine enjoyment, appreciation and collecting to the consumer sector. We dispelled myths of elitism and snobbery surrounding wine enjoyment. We continued to grow the business over 45 years. Empowered and mentored our daughters - the next generation to lead our 2 businesses: E-commerce and Media. Starting as a print publication - We are now digital first. New business divisions are being launched on a continual basis including our Travel division, In person Events, our accredited Wine Academy and our Retail store in SoHo.
