Bio
I am Dr. Yi Zhang, a confirmed TEDx 2026 speaker! I’m a learning strategist and architect who has helped 120,000 people worldwide, across more than 10 industries and 20 global regions, build the skills to adapt and thrive in times of change. For a decade, I partnered with Fortune 100 companies including Microsoft, Walmart, Morgan Stanley, and United Airlines on technology, AI, and talent shifts.
With a Doctoral Degree in Leadership & Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University, I have a profound understanding of how people learn, behavior drivers, and emotional influences. My experience spans audiences in learning, communication, and change, establishing me as a leader in my field.
My background in learning science and human development also drives my passion for preparing Gen Alpha to grow up resilient alongside AI.
As a woman of color with a deep appreciation for cultures, I have successfully collaborated with global partners and teams in 20+ regions. I focus on 1:1 work relationships and affirmative coaching to successfully deliver high-quality, cost-effective results.
In my leisure time, I explore my interests in creative expressions, holistic well-being, and social sciences. I have traveled to five continents.
While so much of my work looks toward the future, one of my favorite memories takes me back to teaching in a small classroom on Baranof Island in Alaska, where I was reminded that the heart of learning is always human.
