Mike Albo creates emotional comedy that explores our consumer culture and how it affects our inner lives. His most recent memoir -- Hologram Boyfriends: Sex, Love, and Overconnection -- is an audiobook about his search for love and belonging before and after the smartphone came along and we all started carrying our desire around in our pockets. His other books include the scifi romance Another Dimension of Us, cult humor classic The Underminer: The Best Friend Who Casually Destroys Your Life, and the queer coming of age novel Hornito. A former Critical Shopper columnist for the New York Times, Mike has performed his solo work throughout the US, Canada, UK and abroad.
