Bio
Gülbahar Avcı is an experienced educator, project coordinator, and ELT professional whose career bridges innovative teaching, international collaboration, and creative educational design. With a degree in English Language and Literature from Hacettepe University and scholarship experience at both Bilfen College and Trinity College London, she has built a strong academic foundation that informs her holistic approach to learning.
Throughout her career, she has taught advanced English, designed curriculum for diverse learners, and supported gifted students through mentoring and enrichment programs. During the pandemic, she worked with the Ministry of Education in Ankara, recording English lessons for national platforms and contributing to the development of assessment systems. Her earlier work in assessment and evaluation also included creating question pools and helping structure national examinations.
Gülbahar is also an accomplished writer and editor, contributing to several educational publications such as Eighteam English Test Book 8, Passageway to LGS 8, and Entrepreneur Teacher’s Handbook. Her editorial work reflects her dedication to clarity, quality, and accessible learning materials.
As a project leader, she has coordinated and contributed to numerous Erasmus+, Comenius, and IPA initiatives focused on multiculturalism, STEAM education, entrepreneurship, digital innovation, and gifted education. She has also played key roles in cultural diplomacy projects, serving as Foreign Relations Coordinator for youth art biennials and international music festivals.
Recognized for her emotional intelligence, communication skills, and creative problem-solving, Gülbahar brings empathy, leadership, and vision to every team she works with. She continues to design future-oriented educational experiences, promote international partnerships, and advocate for learning environments where every student feels inspired, supported, and empowered to grow.
