The TED story
My first TED experience was with TEDxExeter. We decided to sponsor based on the feedback I was getting from our staff - I hadn't seen them so enthused by an event. It was later after working with TEDxExeter's curator Claire Kennedy that I decided to organise TEDxTruro. I was going to wait, but my husband James had a sudden heart attack - he's fine now but it changed everything. I thought why wait let's work together on something positive so hence the theme of the first event 'Time and Tide'........
