I’m Bayan Ambusaidi, a youth mentor, entrepreneur, and public figure passionate about knowledge leadership and empowerment. My journey began in records and information management, where I led national projects in Oman to design and implement digital knowledge systems in alignment with Oman Vision 2040. Beyond the institutional field, I dedicate myself to mentoring young people through initiatives like Startup Weekend UTAS–Muscat and TEDxShabab, helping them unlock their creativity and leadership potential. I am also the co-founder of a luxury abaya brand that blends Omani heritage with contemporary elegance, reflecting my belief that fashion can be a platform for identity and empowerment. My mission is to pioneer a framework for Knowledge Leadership for Youth, to proudly represent Oman, and to participate globally as a youth leader—bridging faith, creativity, and purpose to inspire the next generation to become shining stars in their communities and beyond.

I grew up believing that knowledge was just information stored in books and systems. My early career in records and information management taught me how nations preserve their history — but it also showed me something bigger: that youth themselves are living archives of creativity, vision, and leadership. When I started mentoring young people in programs like Startup Weekend and TEDxShabab, I realized that what they needed wasn’t only guidance, but a framework — a way to lead with knowledge, purpose, and identity. This inspired me to dedicate my path to building spaces where youth feel seen, empowered, and capable of shaping the future. At the same time, co-founding a luxury abaya brand taught me that empowerment can also come through beauty and heritage — that fashion can be a voice for identity. Today, my mission is to pioneer Knowledge Leadership for Youth, to represent Oman on global stages, and to remind the world that when we invest in youth as leaders of knowledge, we invest in the brightest stars of tomorrow.
