As a Cuban immigrant, I was granted a second opportunity in life after escaping socialism and relocating to the United States. Upon arriving, I embarked on a journey of reinvention, dedicating myself to learning English and rebuilding my career from the ground up as a junior developer, having previously served as an engineering instructor in Cuba. Over the years, I progressed from a junior role to a technical lead, and subsequently, to a management position. Today, I am a proud American citizen who finds great satisfaction in my current management role.

My interests lie significantly within the field of aviation, encompassing a broad spectrum of its intricacies and advancements. From the fundamental principles of aerodynamics and aircraft design to the complexities of air traffic control and the strategic planning of flight operations, my fascination with this domain is profound. I am particularly drawn to the historical evolution of flight, the continuous technological innovations that propel the industry forward, and the human element involved in piloting and maintaining these incredible machines. This interest extends to both commercial and general aviation, as well as the specialized applications within military and experimental aircraft.
