Bio
Lindsey Spindle is President of The Jeff Skoll Group. Working for global change-maker and renowned entrepreneur Jeff Skoll, Lindsey helps oversee and connect Mr. Skoll’s philanthropic, commercial, and personal interests including Participant Media, Capricorn Investment Group, and the Skoll Foundation where she also serves as a Board Director.
Lindsey has dedicated her career to shaping progressive organizations and campaigns that improve people’s lives, particularly women and children. A member of the executive committee st Share Our Strength, Lindsey developed brand, content marketing, corporate, impact, advocacy, and fundraising strategy. Under her leadership, The No Kid Hungry campaign won PR Week’s prestigious Non-Profit PR Campaign of the Year in 2015, Blackbaud’s Impact Award for Best Multi-Channel Fundraising Campaign, PR Daily's Best Advocacy and Awareness Campaign, the Social Media Leadership Award from Knowledge@Wharton and multiple Telly Awards.
Before focusing on hunger alleviation, Lindsey spent nearly 20 years in healthcare working for some of the most respected commercial and non-profit organizations. Throughout her career, Lindsey shaped major social marketing campaigns that curbed youth smoking by 30% in one year, increased patient safety through reduced medical errors, defended vaccine safety, and secured bipartisan Congressional funding for improving health care quality.
Lindsey currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Skoll Foundation and World Central Kitchen. She is a member of the Next Generation Council of The Shoah Foundation and the Rise Council, advising on TPG Growth’s global social impact Rise Fund.
Lindsey actively mentors women, especially new working mothers who are learning to balance competing interests.
