Bio

Born in Tokyo. After graduated from the girls’ junior and senior high school and the women’s university, worked in several fields such as the fashion industry, the media, and the design area. To build my career to live as an independent woman, studied at the technical school of jewel design for 2 years. (Received prizes at the Pearl Design Contest, and the Platinum Design Contest.) When I was about getting a new job, I got married and became a typical housewife. When almost completing “the child-raising period”, in 2000, I started my work as a board of director and the general manager of the Ito Scholarship Foundation which my father founded. Executive Director of Ito Scholarship Foundation. Ito Scholarship Foundation offers scholarship to undergraduate and graduate students (135 students at the present.) I serve as a councilor of Solaputi Kids’ Camp since 2009. Solaputi Kids’ Camp is the organization which sets up and runs the camping ground where children suffering from intractable diseases such as children’s cancer, can enjoy the experiences in the natural environment at ease with medical back-up. This project was originally initiated by Paul Newman, the actor, as Hole In The Wall Camp, and Solaputi is the first associated project in Asia.
