I’m a father, and to finance my life mission work in marketing communications. I have three decades of experience in art, design, branding, and digital innovation. I lead a creative team that turns authentic stories into guest experience magic, blending data, design, and heart. I also chair the Guam Hotel & Restaurant Association’s PR & Marketing and F&B Committee, championing sustainable tourism and celebrating Chamorro culture. I’ve taught web design and animation at Guam Community College, inspiring island creatives now thriving worldwide. When the pandemic hit, I wrote and illustrated Coping with COVID When You’re a Kid to help families navigate uncertainty with hope and humor. Today, I serve on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army Guam Corps, building partnerships and fundraising drives that lift at-risk families and those facing substance-use challenges. Whether I’m polishing a brand narrative or organizing neighborhood relief, my through-line is constant: connect people and possibilities, and leave every project and every community kinder, smarter, and more resilient.

My story sits at the intersection of love, fear, and the life-saving power of science. I grew up in Manila, raised by a resourceful grandmother who survived World War II and did everything she could to protect me — even when that protection meant I missed critical vaccinations. As a child, I survived polio, measles and mumps. Decades later, as a father, artist, and community advocate, I found myself confronting a modern threat to families everywhere: the infodemic. My TEDx talk, “When Love Distrusts Science,” blends my lived experience with global public-health data to explore how misinformation spreads, how it harms, and how love can unintentionally lead us astray. Today, I live on Guam, where I lead creative strategy at Hilton Guam Resort & Spa and serve my community through the Guam Hotel & Restaurant Association and The Salvation Army Guam Corps. My mission is simple and deeply personal: to help families understand that we don’t have to choose between love and science. Our children deserve both.
