Bio
Yolanda Vaughn is an AI Action Strategist, certified Project Management Professional (PMP), workforce development leader, speaker, and consultant dedicated to helping people and organizations turn insight into action through practical, ethical AI adoption.
Her story is one of resilience, reinvention, and purpose.
By the age of 16, Yolanda had survived cancer twice. At 26, after the birth of her first child, she was diagnosed with postpartum heart failure. Years later, while raising two young children as a widow, she continued navigating life with chronic heart failure while building a career focused on serving others. After living with heart failure for 17 years, she received a life-saving heart transplant, an experience that deepened her commitment to helping people make the most of every opportunity they are given.
Today, Yolanda combines lived experience, leadership expertise, and emerging technology to help individuals, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, educational institutions, and community organizations thrive in a rapidly changing world.
With a professional background spanning higher education, healthcare workforce development, nonprofit leadership, project management, research engagement, and community impact initiatives, she has led programs that have expanded access to training, scholarships, apprenticeships, and career pathways for hundreds of learners and workers.
Yolanda currently serves in workforce and higher education leadership, where she helps design and scale programs that strengthen healthcare and human services talent pipelines. Her work has included partnerships with colleges, employers, healthcare organizations, state agencies, and community-based organizations to create opportunities that improve lives and strengthen communities.
As an AI consultant and educator, Yolanda is passionate about making artificial intelligence accessible, practical, and human-centered. She helps professionals and small businesses move beyond the hype of AI and develop real-world systems that increase productivity, reduce overwhelm, improve decision-making, and create new opportunities for growth.
Known for her "Aha to Action" approach, Yolanda teaches that technology alone does not create transformation. People do. Her work focuses on helping individuals build confidence, create sustainable systems, and take meaningful action one step at a time.
She is the founder of initiatives focused on AI literacy, digital empowerment, and personal reinvention, helping purpose-driven professionals leverage AI to create greater impact without sacrificing their values or well-being.
Whether speaking on stage, leading workshops, designing workforce programs, or coaching individuals through life's transitions, Yolanda's mission remains the same: to help people move from uncertainty to possibility, from overwhelm to clarity, and from intention to action.
She lives in Tennessee and enjoys travel, reading, personal development, technology, and creating spaces where people can learn, grow, and discover what is possible in their next chapter.
