With over eight years of diverse experience in business management across telecom, HR outsourcing, and service sectors, Amy brings operational excellence, strategic clarity, and people-centered leadership to the spaces she builds. Her work at Life Valley involves streamlining school operations, developing outreach programs that connect deeply with parents and the wider community, and designing platforms that amplify student voice, creativity, and confidence. Amy’s professional journey includes serving as Branch Lead for Kerala at Quess Corp Ltd., where she set up and managed a full-scale business vertical, led HR operations for over 150+ employees, managed high-value clients, and was appreciated at the CEO level for crisis leadership during the 2015 Chennai floods. She continued to expand her management footprint as Deputy General Manager at Roboclean Cooling Solutions, handling operations, HR, and marketing with precision and empathy. Her foundation in service and leadership began long before her corporate roles. I'm passionate about

Social service has always been at the heart of who I am. From my earliest years in college, I stepped into roles that allowed me to serve, uplift, and stand with communities in need. As a leader in the National Service Scheme (NSS) and an active volunteer in various outreach initiatives, I spent years organizing camps, leading palliative care programs, coordinating charity drives, teaching students in government schools, and mobilizing youth for meaningful causes. Service was never just an activity for me,it was a calling. Whether coordinating emergency support during crises, guiding young volunteers, or creating awareness programs, I approached every responsibility with empathy, humility, and a genuine desire to help. These experiences shaped my belief that true leadership is rooted in service and that small acts of kindness can create powerful ripples of change. Even today, in my role in education, I carry this spirit forward, building systems, communities, and spaces that reflect my deep commitment to serving people and making a difference wherever I can.

The TED story

Before I ever became an employee at Life Valley, I was simply a parent, a parent who cared deeply about community, connection, and the happiness of children. Last year, when I was elected as the President of the Parents Club, I didn’t know that this moment would mark the beginning of one of the most meaningful journeys of my life. My passion for social service had always guided me. I loved helping people, organising initiatives, and seeing the joy that even small acts of kindness could bring. Every smile I saw during those early days of service reminded me that happiness multiplies when you give it away. So when I took on the role of Parents Club President, I brought that same spirit with me. I wanted to create more than a committee, I wanted to build a circle of connection. We started with simple ideas, but they grew into something powerful. Parents, especially homemakers who felt unseen, undervalued, or unsure of their purpose, began showing up with excitement. They connected with each other, shared ideas, volunteered, organized events, and discovered talents they had forgotten they possessed. Many of them told me, “I thought I was wasting my life… but now I feel I matter again.” Those words changed me. Through social service and the Parents Partnership Circle, I touched the lives of others, but their transformation touched me even more. It taught me that community is built by everyday people who choose to show up, and that purpose grows when we grow together. This is where my story truly started, not in a job title or an office, but as a parent, a volunteer, and someone who simply wanted to bring people together for a purpose. And every smile I witnessed along the way reminded me that service is not just something I do, it is who I am.

Things you might not know

People often see the roles I play, the work I manage, and the responsibilities I carry, but what many don’t realise is that I’m also someone who writes from the heart. Writing has always been one of my quiet strengths. Whether it’s shaping meaningful messages, crafting stories, or expressing ideas with clarity and emotion, I naturally connect with people through words. I may not always talk about it, but writing is where I feel most authentic, it helps me reflect, communicate, and inspire. It’s the space where my thoughts come alive, where I can turn experiences into lessons, and where I can give voice to feelings that often go unspoken. And even though not everyone knows this side of me, it remains one of the gifts I cherish the most.
