Bio
I’m an English educator with a deep passion for helping students find their voice and think critically through language and literature. As a TEDx speaker, I’ve had the opportunity to share ideas that matter—especially around education, empathy, and personal growth. I’m also an active member of an NGO that works in the field of mental health, where I contribute to creating awareness and building support systems that promote emotional well-being. My work is driven by a strong belief in the power of words, both in the classroom and beyond.
I'm passionate about
I'm passionate about creating spaces—both in and outside the classroom—where young people feel seen, heard, and empowered. As an English educator, I believe in the transformative power of language to unlock not just academic success but emotional awareness and personal growth. I'm deeply committed to integrating empathy and expression into learning, using stories, conversations, and creative thinking to help students navigate their inner worlds. Through my involvement with mental health initiatives, I’ve seen how crucial it is to give young people the tools to articulate their feelings and build resilience. Whether I’m teaching, speaking, or working with communities, my passion lies in helping others find their voice and use it with purpose.
An idea worth spreading
Language is more than a subject—it's a survival skill. When we teach young people how to express themselves, we are not just building literacy; we are building emotional resilience. Classrooms can become safe spaces where conversations about identity, belonging, and mental well-being begin—not despite the curriculum, but through it.
Many students struggle silently, lacking the words to express what they feel. As educators, we can use stories, poetry, and discussion to create emotional vocabulary and psychological safety. Language arts classrooms can be transformed into spaces where mental health is supported through empathy, dialogue, and connection.

The TED story
As an educator, TED and TEDx Talks have always been a source of inspiration and motivation for me. They introduced me to the power of storytelling, the impact of ideas, and the courage it takes to speak with authenticity. This passion naturally found its way into my classroom, where I began introducing Talks to my learners and the wider school community. Watching people take the TEDx stage sparked a dream in me—to bring that same platform to my own school. I envisioned a space where learners, teachers, and every member of our school community could share their ideas worth spreading. Today, I’m on the path to fulfilling that dream by organizing a TEDx event that celebrates voices from within and inspires growth far beyond the walls of a classroom.
Things you might not know
People don’t know I’m good at creating calm in chaos—whether it’s defusing tension in a classroom, supporting someone through a mental health challenge, or bringing clarity to a complex idea. I have a quiet strength when it comes to listening deeply and responding with empathy. I’m also good at weaving together seemingly unrelated things—like literature and life skills, or mental health and education—into meaningful experiences that resonate with people. It’s not always loud or obvious, but it makes a lasting impact.
