Bio
After spending nearly a decade in high tech marketing and public relations, Jennifer Middlin launched a solo career in marketing consulting. She is passionate about strategic marketing and public relations planning and execution and brings extensive experience with various forms of traditional and online media. Additionally, Jennifer is wildly passionate about social media and its integration with traditional marketing tactics.
Jennifer serves on several non-profit boards and committees including: Ignite Lansing and TEDx Lansing, the Mid-Michigan Tweet Up, The Center for New Enterprise Opportunity, and the Capital Area IT Council. Jennifer is a 2009 recipient of the ‘10 Over the Next Ten’ Award from Grand River Connection and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The TED story
I am the director of TEDx Lansing in Lansing Michigan. We had our first event on May 21, 2010 with 500 attendees. With the help of an amazing group of volunteers and a previous TED attendee, we exceeded all of our wildest expectations and put on a game changing event for the Greater Lansing region.
