I'm an educator, community builder, and professional collector of ambitious student ideas. As CAS Coordinator at Escola Eleva Brasília, I believe I help young people turn ideas into action through service, leadership, creativity, and community impact projects. My work sits at the crossroads of education, social impact, and student empowerment, where learning is measured not only by grades, but by the difference students make in the world around them. Over the years, I have helped organize MUN conferences, TEDxYouth events, service initiatives, and countless opportunities for students to discover their voice. A firm believer that meaningful growth often begins outside our comfort zones, I spend my days helping students tackle big challenges... and occasionally taking on a few of my own. I'm a lifelong learner, a proud single mom who is even prouder of her kid, a hallway-dancing (when no one is watching - or maybe they are, I don't know)/will interrupt you to insert a song lyric for a word you say-type of co-worker, and the owner of a dinosaur tattoo that serves as a daily reminder that curiosity never goes extinct.

I believe life is meant to be lived with curiosity, purpose, and a healthy sense of humor. Passionate about travel, creating opportunities, and dreaming bigger than feels comfortable, I dedicate my work to helping young people discover their potential and create meaningful impact. Above all, I am a proud mom, constantly inspired by her son to keep learning, growing, and becoming the best version of myself for those around me.

We are taught to measure our lives through achievements: grades, titles, salaries, awards, and milestones. Yet the impact we leave on others is often far more lasting than anything we accumulate for ourselves. Success is personal. Significance is relational. A life well lived is not defined by what we earn, but by the kindness we show, the empathy we extend, and the positive mark we leave on the people and communities around us.

My connection with TED began as a curious learner. I was fascinated by the idea that, in less than 20 minutes, a single person could challenge assumptions, inspire action, or completely change the way someone saw the world. Over time, TED became more than a source of inspiration. As an educator, I found myself drawn to its belief that ideas matter and that anyone, regardless of age or background, can contribute something meaningful to the conversation. That connection deepened when I began helping organize TEDxYouth events. What moved me most wasn't the stage itself, but watching students discover that their voices had value. Seeing young people step forward to share their ideas reinforced something I had always believed: that education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but about finding the confidence to use it to make a difference. It's been 3 TEDxYouth events so far, and I look forward to organizing many more!
