About Courtney
Bio
I serve as the Associate Experience Coordinator at Jackson Healthcare, where I coordinate and execute companywide events and lead initiatives that help cultivate a strong sense of community and belonging for our associates. I also manage our Employee Resource Groups, supporting spaces where associates feel represented, valued, and connected.
I hold a degree in Sociology with a minor in Women, Race, and Gender Studies from Valdosta State University, which has shaped the way I view people, systems, and the importance of intentional allyship. I’m passionate about being a supportive advocate for minority groups and doing my part to make environments more inclusive and empathetic.
On a personal level, I care deeply about breaking the stigma around mental health. I openly share my own mental health journey because I believe vulnerability is a bridge to understanding — and no one should feel alone in theirs. At the end of the day, my guiding goal is simple: to be a good human who leads with compassion, listens with intention, and encourages others to show up authentically.
I also thoroughly enjoy content creation - sometimes I wonder if I missed my calling in marketing & communications. I have a YouTube channel and I enjoy making funny, relatable Reels - I’ve even had two go viral! You can find me at @courtgetsreal on IG.
