I’m Lagzen Thakuri, a full-stack web developer and aspiring entrepreneur from Nepal. I’m passionate about solving real-world problems through technology and turning ideas into meaningful action. I love learning new skills, challenging myself in hackathons, and using my work to create a positive impact. For me, every project is a chance to grow, experiment, and bring a little change to the world around me.

I’m driven by the desire to solve real problems, especially in areas like education, agriculture, and inclusion, and I love turning ideas into action that helps people in everyday life.

For me, dreaming started with curiosity — the curiosity to explore how things work, to build something meaningful, and to make an impact. I’ve always been drawn to solving problems, whether through code, creativity, or conversations. But dreaming wasn’t enough. I had to dare — to join hackathons I wasn’t sure I was ready for, to pitch ideas that felt too ambitious, and to step outside my comfort zone again and again. Through this journey, I’ve learned to do — to take action, build real solutions, and learn from failure. From developing tech for agriculture to starting a small business rooted in local craftsmanship, each step I’ve taken has brought me closer to my goals. TEDx gives me the chance to share this journey — not as someone who has all the answers, but as someone who keeps showing up with a dream, a bit of courage, and the will to keep doing.

People don’t know I’m good at quietly solving problems under pressure — whether it’s fixing last-minute technical issues or helping others stay calm and focused. I learn fast in unfamiliar situations and often figure things out behind the scenes, even if I don’t talk much about it.
