Bio
I grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Sam Houston State University. This is where I would receive my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude with minors in Geography and Criminal Justice. I am currently applying to graduate programs to further my education in Clinical Psychology & Therapy. I hope to continue advocating for rehabilitation after incarceration and for the development of strategies to reduce recidivism.

The TED story
My TED story began when I first applied to deliver a TEDx talk through my alma mater. Although I was not selected, the experience became a turning point. Rather than seeing it as a setback, it inspired me to pursue a TEDx license of my own. Through this, I was able to create a platform in my hometown community that gives others the opportunity to share their stories, ideas, and passions on the TEDx stage. What began as a personal dream has grown into a way to uplift voices and foster connection within my community.
