Bio
Creator, systems thinker, and impact-driven entrepreneur committed to solving the global plastic pollution crisis and building a collaborative and empathetic world.
Pro-level dancer. Global citizen (American who’s lived in the US, Myanmar, Uganda, and Germany).
I have deep operational and strategic expertise in circularity, building a sustainable D2C consumer brand, building in the Global South, supply chains, and manufacturing.
As co-founder/CEO of Myanmar Recycles, I pioneered one of the world's only industrial-scale used plastic bag recycling and collection companies -- in a country that lacks waste management infrastructure. With Myanmar Recycles, I also co-founded an industry advocacy group with the World Bank Group and piloted the world's first plastic credits.
Post-Myanmar coup February 2021, I launched a Global Green Solutions, where I helped companies commercialize global recycling technologies and waste management systems, advised NASA on global plastic waste management (which was incorporated into their strategy), and advocated on behalf of SMEs and Global South within the UN’s Global Plastic Treaty negotiations process.
I’m a former consultant at the World Bank Group with 15+ years of go-to-market experience in resource-limited markets (Southeast Asia, East Africa), North America, and Europe in the fields of ESG, circularity, global public health, and financial inclusion.
I’m also a Cartier Women’s Initiative Fellow and the community’s North America Community Activator.
I'm passionate about
building a collaborative and empathetic world that prioritizes human and planetary health & progress!
An idea worth spreading
