I'm passionate about
I am passionate about advancing research, transforming education through innovative pedagogy, and building bridges between academia, industry, and society. My drive lies in making education impactful, ethical, and accessible—while nurturing students, fostering institutional excellence, and continuously learning to stay ahead in this evolving field.
An idea worth spreading
Redefining success as collective well-being, not individual achievement.
The TED story
When I first began my journey in computer science, I wasn’t chasing awards or recognition. I was chasing curiosity—the curiosity to understand how machines could think, how intelligence could be replicated, and how technology could serve humanity.
Over the years, that curiosity became a mission. From rebuilding broken Kannada characters to designing CNN frameworks that address hallucination phenomena in multimodal and clinical contexts, my research has always been about one thing: making technology more reliable, more human-centered, and more impactful.
But research alone is never enough. I realized early on that knowledge must be shared, not stored. That’s why I’ve stood on countless stages—whether at Infosys, IEEE conferences, or classrooms—speaking to teachers, students, and professionals about the future of AI. My passion lies in transforming education, in showing that AI is not just a subject to be studied, but a tool to reimagine pedagogy, productivity, and possibility.
Along the way, I’ve been honored with awards—Best Professor, Best HoD, Best Paper—but the real reward has been watching students light up when they solve a problem, seeing departments rise to national ranks, and knowing that our work is not confined to labs but extends to NGOs, social causes, and communities.
My story is not about being the best. It’s about building bridges—between research and practice, between academia and industry, between technology and society. And if there’s one message I want to leave you with today, it’s this: AI is not about replacing humans. It’s about amplifying what makes us human—our creativity, our empathy, our drive to learn and grow.
That is my passion. That is my journey. And that is the future I invite you to imagine with me
