Bio

Active across various disciplines, underlining all projects I am involved with is the effort to building future-focused, self-aware and inclusive communities. As a systems thinker, I'm familiar with the work at each level - the intrapersonal, organisation and community. At the organisation level, I develop systems, processes and engage in planning activities to help enable consistency in effective work while building its overall resiliency to handle change and uncertainty. Every tweak is aimed at improving fault tolerance in teams and creating more time for people to do more of what they are purposeful about. I am currently focused on the higher-education, cultural heritage (art galleries, museums) and non-profit organisations. As an accredited workplace mediator in Australia, I carry this outlook through various circumstances - resolving conflict, coordinating or enabling teams, capacity building, developing strategy and ensuring that we are creating opportunities that are always inclusive and accessible, in particular for people with disabilities. A keen advocate for developing emotional intelligence and advocating for inclusion and accessibility, I am curious about how we can embed the idea of empathy in organisational containers. I contribute to this broad agenda via facilitating monthly community meet-ups, workshops, conflict-resolution coaching and advocating for a self-aware society through the vehicle of the arts.

I'm passionate about

Building self-aware and inclusive communities. Developing emotional intelligence via philosophy, access & inclusion, museums & galleries, making people and organisations resilient.

An idea worth spreading

Nurturing cultures and systems that tip people, when under stress, to act with empathy, from a place of compassion and not fear.
