Hello! My name is Audrey Kramer. I have my B.A. in Psychology from Meredith College and a Paralegal Certificate from Boston University. I am currently looking at attending law school and considering concentrations in either international law, environmental law, or both. I have experience with creating and executing one TEDx event so far and look forward to any future opportunities to contribute. My goal in planning these types of events has and will continue to be to foster inclusivity and diversity as well as optimization of planning stages and final execution.

When asked what I am passionate about, the first thing that often comes to mind is the environment. Connection to nature and its preservation has always been at the very least present if not at the forefront of my life throughout my childhood and into my current everyday life. One of my core memories of my grandfather who has since passed is watching the Planet Earth documentaries in the den. Thinking back on it now, seeing a gazelle taken down by an alligator may not have been the most appropriate thing to be watching as an 8-year-old, but it instilled in my a great appreciation for things that are outside of myself. Now I aspire to study environmental law and policy and believe it is one of the most critical areas of focus for our future on this planet.

I was honored when during my senior year of college, my friend Shukria Alavi asked if I would be interested in bring the Co-Lead Organizer for the TEDxMeredithCollege event of 2025. I was excited at the opportunity to formulate and host an event that would inspire young women to pursue their passions in STEM. As Co-Lead, I helped select a team of fellow student leaders for our program, facilitated meetings, encouraged open idea sharing, kept records of meeting agendas and notes, and organized resources for the team. My hope is that my contributions helped to streamline the planning process for future TEDx efforts at Meredith College through extensive documentation and inspire students to follow their dreams.
