Bio
Claire Bai, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Advertising at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the founder of Bonjour Girls, a nonprofit community dedicated to empowering Asian women through professional development, mentorship, and community-building. With over a decade of experience spanning global brands, social commerce, and marketing science, Claire’s work sits at the intersection of storytelling, data, and culture. She organizes TEDx Bonjour Girls to spotlight ideas shaped inside constraint—and expand what “breaking through” can look like for women across different paths.
I'm passionate about
I’m passionate about bridging research and real-world practice—translating insights about platforms, culture, and consumer behavior into tools women can actually use to move upward.
An idea worth spreading
Breaking through isn’t a singular moment—it’s a repeatable practice of self-authorship under constraint.
Things you might not know
People don’t know I’m good at connecting the right people at the right moment—and building a room where strangers feel safe enough to be honest.
