I am a social worker, passionate about education, social justice, and the transformation of realities. I believe in the power of local actions to generate global impact and I work on projects focused on promoting reading, equity, and inclusion in riverside communities in the Amazon. Through sensitive listening and a commitment to the collective, I seek to build bridges between knowledge and practice, respecting cultures and contexts. My journey has been marked by work with vulnerable populations, the encouragement of active citizenship, and the defense of human rights. I want to continue building a fairer world, where everyone can access opportunities and live with dignity.

I am passionate about doing good, even through small gestures. I believe in the power of transforming the world with simple actions, carried out with care, responsibility, and social awareness. I love helping others discover their worth, recognize their potential, and transform their realities. My passion lies in creating paths where there were once only walls — and inspiring others to do the same. Because a better world begins when someone decides not to wait any longer.

Education can be a seed of transformation when rooted in respect for local realities. Bringing books to places where access to reading is rare is more than just sharing knowledge — it’s about sparking possibilities. The idea I want to spread is this: every child, anywhere in the world, deserves the chance to dream through words. Promoting access to reading in marginalized territories is a powerful way of saying: you matter. And when a child feels they matter, the world begins to change. This is not just about books — it’s about belonging, dignity, and the belief that even the smallest stories can spark the biggest changes.

I discovered TED as a curious listener, searching for inspiration. Over time, these talks became part of my life’s repertoire: they taught me to think differently, believe in the impossible, and value real stories. I’ve always been moved by the strength of those who share their experiences with courage and vulnerability. Today, I also want to tell stories — not only my own, but those of the communities I work with. I believe that giving voice to these people can transform the way the world sees them. TED taught me that a great idea doesn’t have to be grand — it just has to be true.

Many people don’t know that I’m good at noticing what isn’t said. I have a sensitivity to listen attentively and welcome others with empathy, even when silence speaks the loudest. I’m also creative when it comes to solving problems with limited resources — I enjoy finding alternative solutions and making a lot out of very little. In addition, I have a talent for connecting people and causes, and for turning ideas into concrete actions.
