From newsrooms to boardrooms, Patrick Walker has built a distinguished career at the intersection of media, technology, and innovation. A former BBC foreign news journalist and digital video innovator, Patrick became YouTube’s first international employee, leading its expansion into over 100 countries worldwide. He later served as CEO of Rightster, a publicly listed YouTube network, and held senior roles at Intel, Google, and Facebook, where he played a pivotal role in pioneering digital media initiatives on a global scale. Today, Patrick is focused on ventures that empower and enrich lives. In 2019, he co-founded Uptime, a micro-learning app awarded Google’s “2021 App of the Year in Personal Growth,” and is dedicated to making personal growth and learning accessible in an increasingly distracted world. He also serves as the Senior Strategic Advisor to Electrify Video Partners, helping drive the growth of creator businesses that inspire audiences worldwide. Now based in Lisbon, Patrick is also the co-founder of Longevity House, Europe’s first longevity social club, which he developed with his wife Noemie to create a community focused on health, wellness, and longevity.
