+ Trade Expert recognized by the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain; + Activist for sustainable rural communities; + Doctor of Diplomacy; and + Author of Principles of Liberty, a narrative methodology for ethical governance. Since 2004, Tabea Hirzel has been committed to the development of rural communities, mainly in Spain, by improving the integration of small and medium-sized agro-food companies into global markets. To this end, she founded her company Lilit Hirsch SL, which received the IDEA Award in 2005 and whose focus was on gourmet marketing, especially that of wines. This project gradually developed into a comprehensive range of knowledge-intensive business services (KIBS, Business Intelligence, Market Intelligence). The main goal of her work was to connect knowledge, spaces and people along the food networks, which involved close cooperation with government institutions. In 2011 she specialized in European projects and the management of public-private cooperation and in 2017 she was certified as a foreign trade expert by the IPEX - Institute for External Promotion of Castilla-La Mancha, on whose behalf she carried out several projects. Currently, the main objective is to prepare companies for the transition to the fourth industrial revolution, the so-called Economy 4.0, through strategic cooperation with companies within the field of 4.0 technologies (especially in the areas of AI, robotics, big data, block chain), educational institutions, and large retail organizations. Tabea Hirzel holds a PhD in Diplomacy from SMC University in Switzerland and a Master of Business Administration and Management and a Master of Clinical Psychology. In her doctoral thesis, she developed her own methodology for storytelling as a tool for ethical and sustainable leadership, which she is currently applying to create intelligent and sustainable business models. And yes, I am an animist, just like Taoists and Shintoists, but this was no option to mark in the section "I am..." below. :-)

APPLIED SCIENCE: ... how far we can go, when we go together and do concrete things in real life on a everyday basis. COMMUNITY: I am passionate about serving all those invisible and unknown heroes who get up every day to make the world rolling in the right direction. This is why I learn with a group of readers to live plurality an other democratic principles in the readers club I lead. CLOSING GAPS: I am passionate about connecting people with others, with the right tools and the resources they need. FARMING: I apply my own theory on circular economy to my small family farm, where I set permaculture and circular economy in action. OHANA: Counting my wonderful husband, our four kids, a daughter-in-law and her brothers and parents, my former husband, his wife and daughters, my own parents, sisters a handful of special friends and our animals to our core family, living distributed around the globe, but connected through many projects on a daily basis, I feel very blessed.

CONFLICT AS SOLUTION: ... is that the only way one can become a person is by encounter with another person. It might be, that, through the current climate crisis, we have faced someone we never expected to speak up. Conflicts are an opportunity for growth. TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE: Sustainability is not about finding a compromise between people, environment and health. If it is not good for one of these areas it is not good for the others. E.g. in the current sanitary crisis caused by COVID-19, we do not need to discuss if prioritize health over economy. We need to find ways how to improve health through business and how to boost economy by responding to the crisis. COMPLEXITY: The problem of complexity is not overcome by simplification but by creativity. PERPLEXITY: Perplexity is the key to the Other facing us. CONSCIOUSNESS: Consciousness is not something that can be programmed, neither can it be prevented by careful programming. It simply emerges and it can be stimulated through encounter. ETHICS: Ethics is not only a question of mind, it is also a question of body. Body and mind are the two sides of being a person, we are not a "spirit" living in a body. This is why experience is as important as knowledge.

I am following TED and TEDx events through Youtube as long as I can think, and I was an active Toastmaster and event organizer. But so far, I was always too much frightened by the high quality of contributions in order to organize an event for my community. Now, I am making the step.

ARTS: I am a poet, design games, did some painting and performance work. LOGIC: I solved the Kantian gap and designed an application for it. I try to apply logical and abstract concepts to game experiences. HACKING: Sometimes I hack codes for learning purposes, but most of the time, I hack the human mind and design models of it. MARTIAL ARTS: I practice Bushido, including Budo, since I am eight. LANGUAGES: I started learning my first foreign languages when I was three, at the kindergarten; Hindi and Mandarin. HORSES: I use my horses for leadership programmes and coaching. MINECRAFT: I do storytelling and kids events with Minecraft maps. Examples are the 12 Labours of Heraclit, Inanna'sDescent to Netherworld, Alice in Wonderland.
