Bio
Paul qualified as a chartered accountant, spent ten years with KPMG first in audit and then in transaction services in New York, before moving into investment banking. He spent 6 years with Rand Merchant Bank before moving to J.P.Morgan where he was the head of Sub-Sahara Africa investment banking coverage for natural resources (metals and mining, oil and gas as well as renewable energy). He then decided it was time to sit on the other side of the table and joined Starsight Energy, a solar renewable energy company focused on Sub-Sahara Africa, first as group CFO and then as Group CEO, a role he still currently occupies.
