Bio

Gary Sorrentino is the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Zoom. With nearly 45 years of experience in Information Technology, Gary has held various leadership roles across the financial services industry. Prior to joining Zoom, Gary was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management, where he served as the Global Head of Client Cyber Awareness and Education. In this role, he led cybersecurity efforts and developed a firm-wide "Protect the Client" program to enhance cybersecurity awareness among employees and clients. Before this, he spent over 12 years as the Chief Technology Officer for J.P. Morgan AWM’s global technology infrastructure initiatives, managing the Data Privacy program and overseeing infrastructure, application, and end-user technology production support. Gary's extensive career also includes positions such as Head of Global Infrastructure and Head of Technology Efficiencies at Citi Private Bank, where he was responsible for global infrastructure support and strategic technology initiatives. He has also served as Global Technology CFO at Credit Suisse and North America IT Controller at UBS. As Global CIO of Zoom, he focuses on leveraging technology to enhance human-to-human collaboration, especially in hybrid work environments.
